Meet our founder & ceo

Dr. Kristina is a wife, mother, advocate, educator, and entrepreneur. She currently serves as a full-time consultant and is the CEO and owner of both Simply Stunning, LLC and Kristina Mason, LLC. In 2023, her colleagues in the pageant industry voted her 'Rookie Director of the Year' at the annual International Global Beauty Awards show for her directorship of the Miss Alaska USA & Miss Alaska Teen USA Pageants.

Kristina has been involved in pageantry as a contestant, coach, director, and local, state, and national titleholder for the past 38 years.  Involved in modeling and performing arts since the age of five, Kristina is an accomplished dancer, and has performed domestically and internationally. She has done print and runway modeling for various local and national agencies. Throughout her pageant career, she has competed in several systems: Miss America, Galaxy International Pageants, MAC Pageants,  Miss Teen USA, Miss National Teenager, Miss National Jr. Teenager, and Talented Teens International pageants.  

Kristina holds Master's Degrees in Elementary Education and Educational Leadership from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California, and the University of Alaska Anchorage, respectively, and a Doctorate of Education from the University of Washington. As the owner of Simply Stunning, LLC, she was honored by being named one of "Alaska's Top 40 Under 40" in 2006.

Kristina volunteers a great deal of her time with many local organizations,  and is an active member of the Winston Salem chapter of Jack & Jill of America, and is very proud of her 26 years of dedicated service to Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and is a member of the Phi Omega Chapter (Winston-Salem, NC). Kristina and her husband reside in North Carolina, and are the proud parents of four exceptional children.
